the barber opened in 2002 by local man Mark Mc Sherry, an award winning barber featured on 'BBC Newsline' in 2003 and 'Cutting It' in 2004, Named in the top ten Finalists 2016,2017,2018 for barbers of the Year and Men’s Stylist of the Year...the barber was recently awarded highly commended at the Northern Ireland Excellence Awards 2019 In Barbers Of The Year/Male Grooming Salon of the Year.Then in July 2019 At the Northern Ireland Hair and Beauty Awards Mark himself was awarded Highly Commended Men’s Stylist of The Year.
the barber is named this Year 2019 in The Northern Ireland Top 100 Salons in which only a handful of Barbers feature.
Mark is qualified with City and Guilds and is a State Registered Senior Barber,and was made a Master Craftsman of Barbering in February of 2017.He has lectured in Newry and Kilkeel Institute of Further Education, teaching Barbering Level 2 and Barbering Shaving Level 3.
Mark is a member of the British Barbers Association, the British Barbers Alliance, the Irish Barbers Association and Alliance, and is also part of the Northern Ireland Think Tank for The Hair Council.
The shop boasts five cutting stations and is insured, assured and registered. Featuring five televisions, daily papers and magazines, handheld games consoles for the kids, and of course a lolly for all! :)
Stocking Gels, Hairspray, Wax, Hair Tonics, Combs and more. If it's not availible, Mark will get you it! Gift Vouchers are available for that special occasion. Kids are also awarded 'the barber first cut' certificates.

For Health and Safety Reasons we ask you to have your hair as clean as possible before cutting..
We use disposable hygienic neck collars around all clients necks this avoids gowns coming into contact with your skin and helps keep the loose hair away from you as well. We also finish all our Gents Cuts (if required) with a new blade each time to leave your neck line smooth.
